On the evening of June 20th 2020, Jayaraj and his son Fenix were taken into police custody for a very petty mistake. The cops kept them in for longer than they were authorised to and the next time the two men were seen, they were severely beaten up, their clothes were soaked in blood, they were unable to stand straight.
